Time to Heal

Episode 1

Karen Millon is having a moment. Her podcast, HEALIN, which focuses on the nature of healing from trauma on the individual, group, or even global level, has taken off at a time when, in the midst of this Covid-19 crisis, all of us in one way or another could use some healing more than ever.

“I wasn’t expecting this to be so timely,” says the married mother of three. “I thought my show, which features a range of healing professionals, from psychotherapists and psychiatrists to pilates instructors and nutritionists, would attract people who have an interest in or personal relationship with or professional authority over the subject of trauma, triggers, different treatments, and recovery. I didn’t know it would be part of defining  the current moment.” Millon notes. “We need to observe our own feelings, both nationally and introspectively. And sometimes we need to be reminded to do that. You know, check up on yourself -- and those we love  too.”

As a businesswoman and entrepreneur, therapy isn’t her profession. Rather, the need to heal for Karen Millon is more of an invocation -- she wants to help healing experts reach a wider audience.

“Not everyone can or will go to a therapist or take a pilates class. But if you can tune into me so I can help you tune into you, then maybe that’s a start.”
